Memorial Day Weekend is the traditional summer kickoff. Due to all the money I’m already set to spend this summer (thanks, Ireland), I decided to have a low key four days. I did a day trip to Gettysburg yesterday (which will be my next post), and am going to Marsh Creek for a few hours

Last week, one of the yahoo stories of the day (those fluff pieces that scroll across the screen on the homepage) was entitled “10 Great All-American Roadtrips”. I’m a big fan of roadtrips, but am consitently dissapointed that on the majority of these lists, most of the roadtrips take place either out west or down
This is the perfect song to add to your CD’s, playlists, etc., for either your ride down to, or your time at whatever shore you go to this summer. Learn it.
I absolutely love the summer, but don’t do well with extreme heat, and was lucky enough to spend my summers growing up (and parts of my subsequential adult summers) in Northeast PA. I was also privy to a newer home that doesn’t overheat, a backyard swimming pool, and plenty of friends with pools and lakes of their own.
